On Sunday, January 24th, the Religious School will be celebrating Tu Bishvat. The "seven species" of Tu Bishvat have been divided among all the classes. Students will be asked to create a poster about their assigned species and share it with the school on the 24th. The poster must include the following details: a picture; a summary of the food item, where in Israel can you find it, what type of dishes or snacks you can make with the item; and how it relates to the bible (for example, the olive branch is a symbol of peace).
